bottle pop

this weekend i had bought V this candy called bottle pop, it is a candy that contains a sucker on the top in the shape of a nipple and the bottle part is filled with a sugary powder...you are suppose to dip the sucker part into the powder. well she never ate it this weekend and last night she saw it on the counter and of course she started asking for it...and of course i gave in and let her have it...lol. so i put on a movie in the bedroom and took sadiebug outside to potty. when i came back up i went to check on V and she was just pouring the powder in her mouth. so i go in and explain that she is not to suppose to eat the powder like that and i show her how to dip the sucker in it and then lick it off (i was scared eating all that powder the way she was would give her a stomach ache). anyways, i left her in the bedroom playing and watching the movie and i went to the kitchen to start dinner. about 5 minutes later i peaked back in the bedroom and there she was drinking the powder again..lol. so i go in and ask what she is doing..

ME - what are you doing?
V - nothing
ME - you can't just eat that powder part...you have to dip the sucker
V (looking annoyed) - i aaammmm
ME - no, i just saw you. i don't want you eating it that way, your belly will get upset
V - no it won't
ME - i don't want to see you doing it again or i will have to take it away
V (with a little grin) - mommy, why don't you just go to the other room
ME - what?
V (pointing towards the door) - i think you should leave
ME (thinking...is my three year old kicking me out of the room) - ummm...no. i am going to stay and play with you for a little bit
V - whatever

lol...yes she is only three and already has a big ole' attitude....not sure were she gets that from. but we did have a good night. after the bottle pop was finished we sat down and ate dinner. she has been eating so well lately which is huge relief. so glad dinner time is peaceful again. after dinner we started decorating a shoe box for her to take to school for the valentines party. we covered the box with red construction paper and tonight we will cut out some hearts to put on it and then put some glitter on it (yes, i only got the paper on the box last night...lots of distractions) . should look cute!
