waiting...

i had an appt for sadie to see the vet this morning at 7:30. V normally doesn't wake up till about 7:15...so trying to wake her up so early this morning was very difficult! i kept asking her over and over to get up and she kept refusing. so i pulled her covers off...i poked her...but no luck. finally after like 15 minutes she opens her eyes and starts whining telling me she can't get up because she can't walk...lol. she always says that when she doesn't want to do something or she wants some one to carry her. in the past i have fell for this act but i know better now. anyways, after i finally get V up and dressed we leave. my intention was to take V to school first but because it was so hard to get her up i ended having to bring her with us. once we got to the vet sadie starts getting really scared and starts crying alot. she is a big dog but she is such a little baby on the inside. poor thing peed three times...one of those times was on the vets arm when he was pressing her belly...hehe. he felt around her belly and listened to her heart and said that her heart sounded good. then they had to put a muzzle thing on her and the vet held her down as they took blood so they can test for any illnesses and they gave her a rabbie shot since hers was expired. while the vet was holding sadie down he kept saying how she was one of the strongest dogs he has ever handled...that's my super bug! so now i am just waiting for the test results. they should be in tomorrow around 10. he said if all the blood work comes back fine then he would probably suggest not starting any medicine for the seizures...but instead start keeping records of them and if they seem to be getting more frequent and more intense then we would should look into medication. i am hoping everything comes back A-OK. i will update tomorrow once i find out.
