my poor bug

sadie gave me a big scare on saturday night. she had a seizure. she was laying on the floor and all of a sudden i looked over at her and she was stiff and shaking a bunch. then she tried to get up and couldn't walk straight...she was bumping into things. i was so worried. i grabbed her and held her for what seemed like forever. she finally snapped out of it and was shaking and panting a bunch. i just sat there and petted her and tried to calm her down....i didn't really know what to do. after about 5-10 minutes she was back to normal. then i started thinking about some stuff that has me concerned. my first thought took me back to feb. 17 (i remember the date b/c it was the day V went to see elmo), we were leaving to go get the laundry and V asked were buggie was (b/c she normally follows us to the door when we leave). i also thought it was a little strange so i started calling for her and finally saw she was under V's bed. so i said sadie what are you doing..and sadie gets up and starts running around the house crazy. like she was running sideways and running into things....it only last about 30 seconds. when i told V's dad about it he said that she probably just had been laying on her legs funny or that they were asleep and that that was probably it. so i didn't think twice about it. but now i know that was a seizure too....so that means she has had (at least that i know of) two seizures in a weeks time. so then i was talking to my mom about it and i remembered about another time about two months ago...i had come home from work and the house was TORE UP. looked like someone had broken in or something. V's dora table and chair was tipped over, the phone was on the floor, things were just scattered around the house. it was crazy. i knew it had to have been sadie...and i contributed that to her being scared...because that day we had some really bad thunderstorms. now things are starting to add up. i am so worried about her. i am making her an appt today to see the vet and get checked out. i will keep everyone updated.
