sneaky V

yesterday V had a little book inside her backpack at school (not really a book, but a pamphlet from the inside sleeve of her new barbie dvd). so normally she brings stuff to school and leaves it alone all day. for some reason yesterday she wanted to show her friends this book. her teacher said she tried to take it out once before nap but they caught her so she didn't get it out. well my sneaky little girl didn't give up...lol. she grabbed it before they went outside after nap. none of the teachers saw her until a little boy i guess grabbed it from her and ripped it on the playground and of course V got mad. so we got in the car and i asked her about it....

ME - so what happened to your barbie book?
V - michael took it from me.
ME - but why did you take it to the playground...your teachers told you not to.
V (changing the subject..lol) - all my friends said it was beeeaaauuutttiiifffuuuullll
ME - did they?
V - yes...it was funny (her laughing)
ME - it was funny?
V - yes, everyone was laughing
ME - really
V - yea
ME - well, ok but i think you need to try to listen to your teachers a little better.
V - leave me alone
ME - i am not upset with you...just want you to listen to them better, ok
V - leave me alone!
ME - ok
V (about 3 minutes later) - can i get some candy?

conversations on the way home are always interesting...hehe : )
