2nd soccer practice

V finally had soccer practice again last night. i forgot my camera so no pictures this time. they practiced kicking the ball in the goal and then practiced being the goalie. it was cute...very disorganized...but cute. V really wasn't in the soccer mood last night...i guess her mind was thinking about more important things....like....flowers. here is the conversation i had with V while she was standing in line to kick the ball.

V (yelling) - MOMMMY!
ME (standing on the sideline) - what?
V - come here
ME - no, you need to watch what is going on
V (about a minute later) - mommy, come here
so i walk over to her
ME - what baby
V (she kisses my arm) - i love you
ME - i love you too very much. now lets stay in line and watch the other kids
V - i want a hug
so we hug and she kisses my checks
ME - baby i am going to go back over to the sideline...you watch the kids and listen to the coach
V - no mommy
ME - yes, i need to
V - mommy, will you go pick me a flower
ME - what? a flower
V - yes, i need a flower really bad
ME - no, we can pick flowers after practice
V (with a whiny voice) - pleaaaasssse...i need one

so out of a last resort to get her to stay in line i go and pick her a flower..lol. i give it to her and she starts smelling it and doing a little twirl. yes, this is at soccer! finally it was her turn to kick the ball into the goal. she did ok, it almost went in. i think we just need to practice dribbling the ball with her and i think if we keep having regular practices then she will get the hang of it more. but anyways, it was a good time. she is just such a girly girl!!!!
