V's little friend...so sweet

while V was getting out of the car this morning she tripped over her feet and fell out of the car (poor thing!). luckily she wasn't hurt, didn't even have any scratches but she was pretty shaken up by it. she was crying and i was trying to comfort her. i felt horrible because i normally grab her hand and help her out but i was looking in her backpack for something and just didn't see what was happening. anyways, we get inside her school and she goes into class...still crying. i tell the teachers what happened and ask them to keep an eye on her. i didn't want to leave while she was still upset but i had to get going. so i leave the classroom and i peak back in through the window and i see the sweetest thing. the class was already sitting in a circle getting ready for circle time...so V's little best friend, layla starts scooting over and pushing the little boy next to her out of the way to make room for V (lol). layla starts patting the floor showing V to sit next to her. So V sits down and layla puts her arm around her and leans towards her and says something...i can just imagine she was telling her everything would be ok. i just thought that was the sweetest thing ever!
